High Hang Snatch + Snatch Balance, OHS @ 70/50kg, Snatch Grip Deadlifts


Super Youth 4:30pm


(A) ME OHS (warm up with snatch to a max of 60/40kg then use racks for OHS)

(B) Snatch Balance, Technique & Progressions

(C) In Teams of 2-5 Rounds 5 Snatch 60/40kg, 200m Row (Athlete A completes a round then Athlete B)

Beginner 6am & 7:30pm


(A) OHS- Work within the limitations of your movement

(B) In Teams of 2-5 Rounds 5 Snatch 40/30kg, 200m Row (Athlete A completes a round then Athlete B)

Intermediate 6am & 6:30pm

(A) ME OHS (warm up with snatch to a max of 60/40kg then use racks for OHS)

(B) Snatch Balance, Technique & Progressions

(C) In Teams of 2-5 Rounds 5 Snatch 60/40kg, 200m Row (Athlete A completes a round then Athlete B)

Advanced 5:30pm

(A) High Hang Snatch + Snatch Balance to max weight of 70/50kg

(B) In Teams of 2-5 Rounds 5 OHS 70/50kg, 200m Row

(C) Snatch Grip Deadlift heavier then 1RM Snatch
   
Focus-  (A) Click here for Demo (B) Athlete A completes a round then Athlete B. If the rowers aren't free wait for it (C) Get a feel of some heavier weight that you would like to snatch

  1. What a crap night.
    Not really with it, a little fuzzy in the head an tired from work, hence the dropped bar and the snatch grip clean (WTF, try it sometime)
    Unsteady in the shoulders, dropped the bar twice in the first round and lost the race from there.
    A. 60kgs
    B. with Mel a full round after Brett an Rookie.
    C. 100kgs.
    On a positive note got some good technique pointers from coach.
