CFS rules for M/E Snatch, Clean & Jerk is as follows
Rule 1) Weights up to 70% will involve improving the limitations of the movement. Think High Hang Snatch & Clean, Hang Snatch. Pausing Below Knee, Above Knee, Tall Snatching etc. This may vary from Athlete to Athlete depending on their own limitations.
Rule 2) Within 10mins from Rule 1 successfully lift 3 Single lifts @ 70% & 75%, 2 Single lifts @ 80% & 85
Rule 3) Take 2min from above & perform 1 Single lift @90%. This is your launching platform.
Rule 4) We get 4 lifts above 90% regardless of our success. Some successful strategies trailed and tested at CFS have been to go 95% then 100%+1kg. If a lift has been missed at 100%+1kg some have successfully re-attempted, some have dropped back to 97.5% for a successful lift then 100%+1kg for a successful lift.
