Focus- (A) Remember your Balance needs to be 110% of your snatch (B) If it feels good go after a new 1RM (C) If your muscle ups are few and far between do 21 Snatch for time then max muscle ups in 10mins from end of snatch.

(A) i work with the Bar tonight getting used to the movement. I really struggled with hip mobility and its something i really need to work on at home.

i failed with 40kg in the warm up. i should of challenged myself more and did 35kg

Top night. Watched the int's hit up Nancy, then got stuck into some heavy OH work.

B. OHS. 75,80,85,90,95kg.
WOD. Isabel -7:20. Broke them up in sets of 5. All full snatch.

Agreed, great night at training! Doesn't have to be all about PBs to be good, I really enjoy the laughs we have in between!!
ReplyDelete(A) Max 35.7 - pretty sure heavier than my last attempt. This lift is hard for me, felt really weak in my left elbow.
(B) 50kg successful, not quite deep enough in my squat for the 52.5kg! Still, up 5kg from my last 1RM.
(C) Isabel - 9:58 (@26.9). I wanted to get under 10mins and only just! I think this is a great benchmark WOD to make me work on my snatch, felt good on some lifts and terrible on others.

C) Isabel at 32kg (67% of PB) 10:19. No missed lifts but maybe too much rest between lifts. Gotta get my snatch strength/confidence back up before Opens.
